Mission Statement
The mission of SACM is to increase the value of credit professionals to their organizations by providing quality services and career-long education and support.
Key Operating Principles
  • The role of SACM is to serve the entire credit community. Our goal is to form partnerships with members and provide proactive education for their credit professionals. We place a high value on each of our members and value every member as a client for life. In all of our dealings, internally and externally, we will abide by the following principles:
  • We are each other’s clients.
  • We will respond to each member as if they are our only client.
  • We believe that each member should be developed to his or her highest potential of education and professionalism.
  • We will accept responsibility and accountability under the law for activities and decisions that impact ourselves, members and customers.
  • We will seek and employ new technologies to better serve our membership, and will never lose sight of the value of face-to-face interaction.
  • We will provide staff members with tools and training necessary for them to excel in their work.
  • We will continually strive for improvement and growth, as an organization and as individuals.
  • We will strive to understand the long-term objectives of our members and orient our work to add value to those objectives.
  • Our Strategic Plan will guide our goals and objectives and will be continually reviewed and updated according to the changing needs of our membership.
  • An active and committed membership is crucial to our success.
